Taco Skillet (Hamburger Helper Copycat)
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 Package Taco Seasoning try my homemade version linked above!
- 1 Cup Long Grain White Rice
- 3 Cups Beef Broth
- 1 ½ Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1-2 Cups Corn Chips such as Fritos Optional for topping
Instructions
- In a deep sided skillet over medium- high heat, brown ground beef, breaking apart as it cooks, and drain excess grease.
- Top cooked ground beef with taco seasoning and stir to coat. Increase heat to high and add rice and broth. Bring to a boil, stir, and reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and simmer 15-20 minutes or until rice is cooked and liquid has been absorbed.
- Stir in shredded cheese and top with corn chips. Serve immediately.
