Cheeseburger Macaroni
If you a fan of Hamburger Helper but not the ingredient list that comes with it, this is for you! Simple, delicious, and all the memories of my childhood in a one-pot meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 2 Tbsp Corn Starch
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 Cup Hot Water
- 2 Cups Milk
- 1 ½ Cups Elbow Macaroni
- 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
- In a deep sided skillet over medium high heat, brown ground beef and drain any excess fat.
- Add spices, water, dry pasta, and milk to ground beef in skilled and bring to a boil.
- Lower heat to low and simmer until pasta is fully cooked. About 12-15 minutes.
- Once pasta is cooked, remove from heat and add shredded cheese. Mix until melted and let sit 3-5 minutes before serving.
