5 Cheese Ziti al Forno

This is a great copycat recipe of one of my favorite Olive Garden meals! It is delicious baked fresh, and equally as amazing as a freezer meal. To use as a freezer meal, freeze before baking then thaw completely when you are ready to use it and follow the baking instructions as listed.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 16 oz Box Ziti Cooked according to directions on box
  • 2 24 oz Jars Marinara Sauce
  • 1 15 oz Jar of Alfredo Sauce or a homemade version
  • 2 Cups Mozzarella shredded and divided
  • ½ Cup Ricotta
  • ½ Cup Provolone shredded
  • ½ Cup Romano grated

Topping

  • ½ Cup Parmesan grated
  • ½ Cup Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 °F
  • In a large Dutch oven, combine the marinara sauce, alfredo sauce,1 cup of mozzarella, ricotta, provolone, and Romano. Cook over medium heat until sauce begins to simmer and all of the cheeses are melted and creamy.
    Stir in the cooked pasta, making sure to coat all of the pasta in the sauce.
  • In a small bowl, stir together your topping ingredients. Pour pasta mixture into baking dish and sprinkle remaining cup of mozzarella and topping mixture over the pasta.
  • Bake, uncovered 30-40 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.
