Slow Cooker Beef Stew

Beef stew is a hearty meal to serve on a cold day that just warms you from the inside out. It can also be budget friendly as it uses pantry staples and is very filling. Stew meat is best cooked slow, so the slow cooker is the perfect way (and easy peasy) to get this dinner on the table!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Stew Meat
  • ¼ Cup Flour
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Pepper
  • 1 Clove Garlic Minced
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • 3 Potaotes Diced
  • 4 Carrots Peeled and diced
  • 1 Stalk Celery Chopped
  • 1 ½ Cups Beef Broth

Instructions
 

  • Trim and cut meat to desired size. Place in slow cooker.
  • In a small bowl, mix together flour, salt, and pepper. Pour over meat and stir to coat.
  • Stir in garlic, bay leaf, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, onion, potatoes, carrots, celery, and beef broth.
  • Place lid on slow cooker and cook on low for 10-12 hours or high 4-6 hours. Remove bay leaf and serve.
