Cilantro Lime Marinade

This marinade is full of fresh flavors and is our favorite for steak, however its delicious on chicken or pork chops as well. To make this a freezer meal, follow recipe and pour over meat in a Ziplock freezer bag. Remove all air from the bag and freezer flat. To use, thaw overnight in the fridge and cook with your desired method (grill, slow cooker, pressure cooker, etc.)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Meat Chicken, pork, steak, etc.
  • ½ bunch Cilantro
  • 2 Limes Juiced
  • 1 Jalepeno Deseeded, stem removed
  • 3 Cloves Garlic peeled
  • 2 Tomatillos Husks and cores removed
  • Cup Olive Oil
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Add all marinade ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. Pour over meat in a shallow dish or a Ziplock freezer bag. Marinate at least 2 hours, then cook meat to safe internal temperature. This will depend on what type of meat you use.
