I love a good copycat recipe! This one checks all the boxes for a tasty side dish with amazing flavor, plus it’s just as easy as the boxed version.
Copycat Pasta Roni
Ingredients
- 2 tsp Olive Oil
- 6 Cloves Garlic Minced
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- 3 Cups Chicken Stock
- ½ lb Angel Hair Spaghetti
- 1 ½ Cup Freshly Grated Parmesan
- ¾ Cup Heavy Cream
- 1 Tbsp Parsley
Instructions
- In a large sauce pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add butter and cook until melted. Add salt, pepper, and chicken stock. Increase heat and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, add past and cook 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent pasta from sticking together.
- Once past is is tender, reduce heat to medium-low and stir in parmesan, cream and parsley. Stir and continue cooking on medium-low until cheese is melted.Remove from heat and serve. Enjoy!
