These muffins are the perfect on the go breakfast. They also freeze really well making them one of my go-to staples in the freezer for school mornings. Add 1/2 cup of shredded cheese to make them McGriddle Muffins!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ Cup Flour
  • 3 ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 ¼ Cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 Tbsp Melted Butter
  • ½ lb Cooked Breakfast Sausage Crumbled
  • ½ Cup Maple Syrup

Instructions
 

  • Combine dry ingredients. Make a well in the center and add wet ingredients except for syrup. Fold in Sausage and syrup.
  • Pre-heat oven to 400 °F and line a muffin tin with liners or spray with cooking spray.
  • Fill muffin liners ¾ full and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
