This recipe came to my recipe box many years ago when I hosted a family Christmas at my home. My cousin brought this salad and I thought it was the strangest thing I had ever seen…. and then I tasted it. Wow! It is SO good!! Frito salad is the perfect side for any get together, but we really love it during BBQ season. It’s a hit wherever I go and I get asked for the recipe so often.
Frito salad is best served right away, and doesn’t store well due to the Fritos, so don’t be afraid to half the recipe if you don’t think you’ll get through a whole bowl of it.
Frito Salad
Ingredients
- 1 9 oz Bag Chili Cheese Fritos
- 1 Cup Mayonnaise
- 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 2 15 oz Cans Whole Kernel Corn
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together mayonnaise, corn, and cheese. Store in fridge until ready to serve. Right before serving, add in Fritos and mix together.
