Swedish meatballs just feel like home to me. My favorite way to serve them is over rice, but there are so many options.

Swedish Meatballs

Ingredients
  

  • 25-30 Meatballs, cooked frozen or homemade
  • 6 Tbsp Butter
  • Cup Flour
  • 3 ½ Cup Beef Broth
  • ¾ Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Tbsp Parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook until thickened and somewhat crumbly. Slowly pour in beef broth, whisking constantly. Cook over medium heat stirring continuously for 1-2 minutes, or until thickened.
  • Add in sour cream and whisk to combine. Season with salt, pepper, and parsley.
  • Add cooked meatballs to gravy, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles and garnish with extra parsley if desired.
