Fluffy Farmhouse Pancakes
The pancakes are delightfully fluffy and easy to make, and they just taste like home on a slow weekend morning.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ Cups Flour
- 3 ½ tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 1 ¼ Cups Milk
- 1 Egg
- 3 Tbsp Melted Butter
Instructions
- Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together in medium sized bowl.
- Make a well in the center of dry ingredients and pour in milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Mix until smooth.
- Drop ¼ cup of batter per pancake into greased or lightly oiled pan leaving enough room for the pancakes to expand slightly. I can usually fit 3-4 ¼ cup sized pancakes per pan.
- Cook, undisturbed until the edges of the pancake look slightly dry and the top is bubbly- about 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook on other side until browned. Remove from heat, and continue in batches until batter is gone.
- Top with butter and maple syrup, or your favorite pancakes toppings. We love peanut butter and syrup!
